Khama, Mido, Parker, Castro and Stash got the Magic!

2019-02-14 10:08

Cape Town - Magic FC goalkeeper Stefan Van Neel believes Khama Billiat, Bernard Parker, Leonardo Castro, George Maluleka and Siphelele Ntshangase are the danger men for Kaizer Chiefs.

The ABC Motsepe League outfit are set to face the Glamour Boys on Sunday in a Nedbank Cup last-16 tie at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Port Elizabeth.

The match is supposed to be a home match for the Cape Town team however no venue was available in the Mother City this weekend.

Nonetheless, Van Neel is undeterred and is looking forward to the clash against the Soweto giants.

The 26-year-old told Soccer Laduma: "It's definitely quite disappointing as our wishes were granted which was not only to draw Kaizer Chiefs but also to have the home ground advantage.

"It would have been fantastic to play this game in front of our friends and family but unfortunately due to certain circumstances it had to be moved but for those who would still like to support us on the day there will be a bus travelling down to PE and we will need all the support we can get.

"We will need to keep an eye on everyone. Chiefs have quite a bit of individual quality by the likes of, Khama (Billiat), (Bernard) Parker, (Leonardo) Castro, George (Maluleka), (Siphelele) Ntshangase and the list goes on.

"But we are planning as a collective and that's why it will boil down to a great team effort from the boys where each and everyone will have to play their role in helping one another and covering one another."

Former Absa Premiership star Thando Mngomeni is a notable member of the side and he could still possess the ability to tear Kaizer Chiefs to shreds from central midfield.

Kick-off is on Sunday at 15:00.
