A day after veteran (SP) Yadav heaped praises on Narendra Modi, and former Minister on Thursday downplayed the episode by saying Yadav's words have no meaning as he hardly remembers anything.

"Unki umar ho gayi hai. Yaad nahi rehta hai kab kya bol denge. Unki boli ka koi mayene nahi rakhta hai (Yadav has aged, his memory is fading. He does not remember what to speak and when to speak. His comments don't mean anything)," Rabri Devi, wife of Rashtriya (RJD) Lalu Prasad Yadav, told the media here.

She also reiterated that the BJP-led NDA would be defeated in and as well as across the country. "The Opposition is united in Bihar, and everywhere. Results of the 2019 polls will be different. It will not be a repeat 2014 at all," said.

She said the will finalise its seat-sharing in for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls soon. "The will trounce the NDA this time," she said.

Rabri Devi's younger son is the Opposition in Bihar.
