A young man treated an elderly stranger to a bouquet of flowers on Valentine's Day after noticing her admire the bright bunch he gifted his girlfriend.
Ben James Smith, from Adelaide, was filmed by his girlfriend, Hayley Lowes, surprising the woman with the gift at their local Coles on Thursday.
'My darling boyfriend had to make this lovely lady's day on Valentine's Day by buying her a bunch of flowers out of the kindness of his heart after she saw my flowers,' Ms Lowe wrote online.

'She made the comment "I wish someone would buy her some for Valentine's Day" so my boyfriend made her wish come true.'
Mr Smith can be seen quickly purchasing the second bouquet at the self checkout before approaching the woman standing nearby with her trolley.
She appears surprised and almost speechless after she realises what the young man has done.
'Happy Valentine's Day,' Ms Lowes says as her boyfriend hands the woman the flowers.
'Oh you've made a 75-year-old-lady very happy,' she replies as she hugs the man back.

The video finishes with Mr Smith telling the lady 'I hope you enjoy your Valentine's Day'.
'Sometimes it only takes one act of kindness to change someone's day and make them smile,' Mr Smith later wrote on his girlfriend's online post.
'It's the least I could do she said she wished that someone would buy her some flowers I realized I had the money for it and she deserved to smile on a day full of love.'
