Genesys, a global player in omnichannel customer experience and contact centre solutions, has appointed Raja Lakshmipathy as the managing director of India charged with leading the company’s expansion in the region.
With over 25 years experience in the customer experience industry, Raja brings a wealth of expertise to Genesys. He has a proven record of accomplishment in consultancy, solutions and services selling.
Based in Bangalore, Raja oversees the Genesys India commercial operations and is responsible for business strategy as well as sales activities. This appointment comes at a time when Genesys India is experiencing significant growth across its ecosystem of customers and partners as well as its employee base.

Prior to joining Genesys, Raja led the collaboration business for the commercial and mid-market segments at Cisco India. Previously, he also served in roles with Avaya Global Connect, BT India Pvt Ltd and Larsen & Tubro. He has a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Madurai Kamraj University and a post graduate diploma in marketing management from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune.
