Murder accused arrested
TNN | Feb 15, 2019, 04:52 ISTManglauru: Mangaluru City Police on Thursday arrested the main accused in a murder that took place in 2012.
The accused is Mahammed Ashraf, 40, a resident of Ullalabail in Ullal. He was accused in the murder of Deepak, manager of Kanchana Textiles, at Rao & Rao Circle. Police said, after committing the crime, Ashraf was hiding abroad. Recently, police received the information that Ashraf was roaming in Ullal and surrounding areas. Following this, a team was formed by the Anti-Rowdy Squad of the city police, who succeeded in nabbing him. He was later handed over to the Mangaluru North police for further action.
