Sysdig has a new leader for South East Asia and India. Sunil Sapra has joined the cloud-native intelligence company’s operations for the region.
Sapra has been appointed as the managing director of Southeast Asia and India at Sysdig in January 2019, confirmed the company’s official statement, exclusively to IDG India.

Downloads of Falco, Sysdig’s open source container runtime security offering which is now a Cloud Native Computing Foundation Sandbox project, grew six times over in 2018, as per the statement. Sapra has joined Sysdig to continue this growth in Southeast Asia and India.
Prior to joining Sysdig, Sapra was vice president and managing director of Seclore Asia. He has over 24 years of experience in launching and growing new technologies in the region. Sapra has also worked with companies like Astaro, WatchGuard, Hitachi Data Systems and Veritas in sales leadership roles.

Sapra’s appointment will add impetus to company’s SEA and India operations. “Organizations today require new solutions to manage and secure their containerized infrastructure,” said Suresh Vasudevan, CEO, Sysdig.

Suresh Vasudevan has served as the chief executive officer at Sysdig since April 2018. Prior to joining Sysdig, Suresh was the president and CEO of Nimble Storage.
