Man found hanging, kin allege murder
TNN | Feb 13, 2019, 07:18 ISTGhaziabad: A 35-year-old waiter with a catering company was found hanging inside his room in Vijay Nagar’s Siddharth Vihar area on Tuesday morning.
His body had several injury marks and his face was burnt with acid.
The victim Jitendra Singh’s family suspects the role of their neighbours — a man and his mother — in the man’s death. Jitendra’s family said on Monday evening, he had an argument with their neighbours.
The family on Tuesday filed a complaint against the neighbours at Vijay Nagar police station.
“They threatened to teach him a lesson. When I came to know about it, I tried to mediate and even went to our neighbour’s house in the night. They threatened to beat me up and kill Jitendratill night. I and Jitendra immediately retreated from there and went to our respective home located in the same colony,” said Jitendra’s cousin, Rajvir Singh.
