Rugby league star Jack de Belin (pictured at court on Tuesday) allegedly grabbed a teenage girl by the throat while he raped her
Rugby league star Jack de Belin grabbed a teenage girl by the throat while he raped her, leaving her with visible injuries to the neck, shoulder, stomach and legs, police allege.
The NSW Origin star, 27, allegedly met the 19-year-old on a night out in Mr Fever Nightclub in Wollongong on Saturday 8 December.
He and his friend Callan Sinclair, 21, said they needed to charge their phones and invited the woman to his cousin's empty apartment, police documents claim.
While the woman was using the bathroom, de Belin, whose girlfriend is heavily pregnant, allegedly stripped naked and barged in to take a shower.
The teenager allegedly left the en-suite before de Belin returned to the bedroom and forcibly took off her top, the Sydney Morning Herald reported.
She put her hands over her breasts before de Belin and Sinclair allegedly said 'show us your tits', the woman claimed.
De Belin then allegedly took the woman's shorts and underwear off and threw her to the ground.
The police fact sheet said: 'De Belin moved himself between her legs, lent down and put his right hand around her throat and [his] right forearm pinned the upper left side off her body.'
The 188cm forward, who weighs 106kg, then allegedly began raping the 51kg girl.
Sinclair allegedly took his top off at which point de Belin said 'come on have a go.'
It is alleged they jointly raped the woman, swapping positions before Sinclair said 'I can't get hard anymore' and left the room to have a shower.

After the alleged rape, the woman showered and booked an Uber for them all to go back to the club - but she didn't stay long and took herself to Wollongong Hospital.
Doctors conducted a rape test and allegedly found injuries to her legs, neck, lower abdomen and shoulders.
De Belin pleaded not guilty to rape in company at Wollongong Local Court on Tuesday.

After the shocking nature of the allegations was exposed, de Belin's team St George Illawara Dragons said he was innocent until proven guilty and is eligible to play.
But the team's Facebook page was filled with calls from outraged fans for him to be banned while court proceedings continue.
One female fan said: 'So disappointed if they let him play. It'll be hard to support them knowing he's on the team.'
Another added: 'I wouldn't play him. The mental strain this is going to have on him is not good for the team.'
The matter has been adjourned to April 17.
De Belin successfully had his bail varied so he doesn't need to report to police every Monday and Friday.
Magistrate Roger Clisdell added an additional condition that De Belin does not enter any international point of departure aside from travelling on an airport train line.
De Belin has also surrendered his passport.
Police prosecutor Sean Thackray had opposed the bail variation due to the 'nature and seriousness of the offence' and the custodial sentence it carries.
Mr Clisdell said there appeared to be 'a reasonably strong case' against de Belin.
But the magistrate agreed to delete his reporting conditions because the 27-year-old was 'a high-profile sportsperson' with professional rugby league obligations and was therefore unlikely to flee.
De Belin's barrister, David Robert Campbell SC, told the court de Belin had a heavily pregnant wife and owned property in the area.
'The proceedings have to take their course in the usual way and there's really nothing more he can say,' Mr Campbell told reporters outside court.
'Obviously, it was an essential (bail) variation because he wouldn't be able to continue playing football with the team, pursuant to his contract, if we didn't get it.'
Sinclair, 21, has indicated he will be pleading not guilty to the same charge.
Neither man commented as they left court on Tuesday.
The sexual assault offence carries a maximum penalty of 20 years behind bars.
The Dragons on Tuesday noted de Belin was now able 'to fulfil his training and playing commitments'.
'The club will make no further comment as this matter remains before the courts,' the club said in a statement.
