Liberty Walk’s Toyota 86 And Subaru BRZ Are Ready For Tokyo Drift

Japan’s Bosozoku car culture has had a huge impact on Liberty Walk, who continues to launch new projects that pretty much wear the same kind of aftermarket parts over and over, albeit adapted to each model.

Two of the company’s latest creations are the Toyota 86 and Subaru BRZ. Both look just about ready to star in a new Fast and Furious Tokyo Drift movie, but since they don’t sport any technical mods, users will need to rev that flat-four within an inch of its life to keep up with the competition.

That’s because the jointly developed 2.0-liter naturally aspirated engine is rated at just over 200 horsepower, and unless you go to a tuner, this is how it’s gonna stay.

So, what’s the deal with Toyobaru’s duo? To put it simple, Liberty Walk has equipped the 86 and BRZ with a bunch of exterior parts. Their signature bolt-on fenders are present, as are the front splitters, rear diffusers and ducktail spoilers. Both models sport a dual-tone exterior and new wheels that complete the pack.

The Japanese tuner would gladly sell 86/BRZ owners one of the four complete body kits available. Depending on what tickles their fancy best, prices range between $4,470 and $5,770 for overseas markets.

For an extra buck, Liberty Walk can throw in some LED DRLs, LED taillights, new exhaust system and an air suspension, in addition to the aforementioned wheels, whereas the special decals complete the look.
