Locals come out in protest over Baga hill destruction

PDA has bee brought just to frustrate the panchayati raj.This was the allegation made by activist Claude Alvares at a rally to protest the cutting down trees at Baga hill. There has been a lot of angst against the various construction activities especially by outsiders in the Calangute, Candolim coastal belt. The Local MLA has been accused of foisting the PDAs and supporting this type of development without taking locals in confidence.
