A 22-year-old man murdered his wife over suspicion of her having an affair with another man and buries her in the plot located near his working site. Seven days after the murder, the accused has surrendered and confessed the crime. The accused Malukure Satnami was convinced by his father to confess the crime.

The case was lodged with Sanad police station and further investigation is on.

The accused a resident of Chhattisgarh was living in Sanad area with his wife Shaily Satnami (28) from the past two months. Both were working as labourers in a brick kiln located at Sanad.

As per police, the couple had fled from Chhattisgarh and had a love marriage. Around eight days back, at around 2 am when Malukure woke up he didn't find his wife sleeping near him.

As he started looking out for her, he spotted her with another man. After seeing Malukure, the man fled from the spot. Malukure and his wife Shaily has an argument, after which he strangulated her. He buried her in the open plot near the brick kiln.

After committing crime he fled to Chhattisgarh.

On Tuesday, Malukure came back to brick kiln in Sanad and narrated the entire incident to its owner, who informed the Sanad police and body was recovered. After which a complaint was lodged against him.

J.R Zala, Inspector of Sanad police station said, "During the interrogation, we came to know when the accused went back to Chhattisgarh he told everything to his father.

His father made him relasied what he has done and told him to go back and to get surrender, after which he came back. We have lodged a complaint in the matter and further investigation regarding the matter is on."
