Two groups clash during tender filing at DRM office
tnn | Feb 14, 2019, 03:05 ISTVaranasi: Chaos prevailed near divisional railway manager North Eastern Railway office in Lehartara area when two groups clashed here on Wednesday. Both the groups were here to take part in filing tender forms for cycle stand being opened at the newly-constructed second entry point of Manduadih railway station.
Inspector Sigra Satish Singh said that four persons of both the groups had been caught and booked under section 151 of IPC for breeching peace in this connection.
Clash took place after a group allegedly tried to stop the rival group from fliling tender. They also indulged in brick batting while some of them also brandished arms leading to chaos. The police deployed in and around the DRM office dispersed both the groups.
