"I grew up in a family where we had stacks of books everywhere (in our home). A home that has stacks of books is a beautiful home to live in. I started reading these books, Gandhi’s autobiography, books of philosophy, psychology, business builders and I started calibrating. And it really changed the way I was living," he said.
Further, Dr. Batra asks Robin Sharma the inspiration behind his characters of the books to which he pointed out that people today are distracted a lot with the technology which makes them less creative.
“I think I’m a creative person and everyone in this room is a creative person. When we were little kids we were intimate with our creativity," he said.
He added, “(It is) powerful to give yourself an hour at the beginning of the day, while the rest of the world is asleep, in this age of dramatic distraction to think, to read, to write in a journal and praying amenity. So I'm creating, I just make the time away from digital distraction so I can get my best ideas.”
