Culprits won’t be spared: Bittu
TNN | Feb 13, 2019, 07:12 ISTLudhiana: Taking serious note of the gangrape incident in Ludhiana, local MP Ravneet Singh Bittu said the culprits of the heinous crime won’t be spared at any cost. The MP said he is in touch with senior police officials who are investigating the matter.
In a press statement issued here on Monday, the Ludhiana MP said gang rape is one of the most heinous crimes against humanity. He said the Punjab government would ensure that the culprits behind this incident are identified and tried with the severest punishment without any delay. He also assured all possible support to the rape survivor and said the Punjab government is standing rock solid with her and her family.
Bittu said the culprits would be behind bars soon.
Meanwhile, Aam Aadmi Party has condemned the incident and demanded immediate arrest of the accused in the case.
