PITTSBURGH, Feb. 13, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Two inventors, from Elburn, Ill., wanted to create a simple way to keep the salt in a rear-mounted salt spreader from freezing, so they invented the H.S.S. TOOL.

The invention provides an effective way to prevent the salt in a salt spreader from freezing. In doing so, it eliminates the need to manually break up frozen salt. As a result, it saves time and effort and it provides added peace of mind. The invention features a practical design that is convenient and easy to use so it is ideal for snow removal companies. Additionally, it is producible in design variations.

The inventors described the invention design. "Our design enables salt to be easily spread during cold weather."

The original design was submitted to the Chicago sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
