Mumbai: Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray has postponed his first pre-poll public rally at Pachora in Jalgaon district that was scheduled for February 15. Former legislator and Sena’s probable candidate R O Patil is admitted in the hospital, which is the reason why Uddhav has postponed his tour. Sena has also claimed on Jalgaon Lok Sabha constituency, that there would be an alliance between Sena and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
At present, BJP represents both Jalgaon and Raver LS seats from the district. Uddhav, in a meeting of party leaders last month announced that he will begin his pre-poll tour from North Maharashtra. The first rally was scheduled in Pachora. The next dates of the tour have not been announced by the party.
