Scolded by father, teen kills himself

NEW DELHI: A 15-year-old boy allegedly committed suicide at his home in outer Delhi's Nihal Vihar on Monday after allegedly been scolded by his father for stealing money from his wallet.
Police said the incident was reported around 4pm. The victim's father found the boy hanging from the ceiling fan and took him to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead. No suicide note was recovered from the room.
During the probe, it was found that the boy had allegedly stolen some cash off his father's wallet, but got caught. Following this, he had scolded him. On Monday, when the boy was alone at home, he allegedly committed suicide.
