The rapper's mom was featured in a photo on David's Instagram Stories before the Grammys on Sunday
Cazzie David appears to have nothing but love for Mac Miller and his family.
Ahead of the Grammy Awards on Sunday, the 25-year-old actress and daughter of Larry David posted a photo on her Instagram Story of the late rapper’s mom, Karen Meyers, and his manager’s wife, Kelly Clancy, standing side-by-side in black formal attire.
David captioned the shot with several red heart and heart-eyed emojis.
Despite sharing the photo on social media, it does not appear that David attended the Grammys with Meyers.
The photo was posted before Miller’s father Mark McCormick attended the Grammys with Meyers in their son’s honor after he was nominated for the first time in the best rap album category for his fifth and final studio album, Swimming.
The snapshot raised some eyebrows as David is famously the ex-girlfriend of Pete Davidson, while Miller is the ex-boyfriend of Ariana Grande. After David and Miller’s relationships ended last spring, their exes Davidson and Grande began dating; within weeks, the Saturday Night Live star and singer were engaged.
Miller, whose real name was Malcolm McCormick, died at age 26 in September — three months after news of Davidson and Grande’s engagement — from an accidental overdose.
In October, PEOPLE confirmed that Grande and Davidson had split and ended their engagement.

At the awards on Sunday, Miller lost for best rap album to Cardi B‘s Invasion of Privacy. He was, however, honored during the In Memoriam segment of the show.
His loss prompted Grande, who did not attend Sunday’s show due to differences with producers, to share her feelings on Twitter in a since-deleted rant.
Though Grande, 25, tweeted, “f—” and “trash,” she later clarified that she wasn’t upset with Cardi.
“Nothing to do w her. good for her. i promise. i’m sorry,” Grande later wrote on Twitter.
She told fans in another message: “She’s not at all and that’s not what i meant and u know that.”
In response to another tweet about why the Grammys did not award Miller knowing his parents were at the show, Grande wrote, “this. this is what i meant. karen was gonna have a green suit made.”
Though Miller’s album was not celebrated with a win by the Recording Academy, his music has been revered since his death.
To honor his legacy and career, his family organized the “Mac Miller: A Celebration of Life” tribute concert in October with Miller’s friends and collaborators like Travis Scott, John Mayer, Chance the Rapper, Anderson.Paak, Miguel, SZA and Ty Dolla $ign performing.

Miller isn’t the only artist who was nominated for an award at the ceremony posthumously.
Rocker Chris Cornell, who died in May 2017, won his 16th nomination in the best rock performance category for “When Bad Does Good.”
The 61st Annual Grammy Awards broadcasted live from Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday, Feb. 10, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on CBS.
