Expect rain and hail from tomorrow night

GURUGRAM: City's air quality deteriorated further on Monday as the air quality index (AQI) was recorded at 288 (poor) - an increase from Sunday's 285 (poor).
Agencies, however, forecast that relief is likely from Wednesday, with rain likely from February 13 to 15. Isolated hailstorm could also occur in parts of NCR, officials said. SAFAR - a body under the ministry of earth sciences - said calm winter conditions and surface inversion is prevailing in the region, with air quality likely to deteriorate further before rain.Delhi's minimum temperature has been below normal since last week, when rain and hailstorm activity was recorded in NCR.
The minimum temperature is expected to remain one or two notches below the season's normal temperature.
"Shallow fog can be seen on Tuesday morning, while cloudy sky with haze is expected during the day. The maximum and minimum temperature would be between 23 and 9 degree Celsius," stated a Met forecast.
