VIJAYAWADA: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, who swiftly reacted to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s accusations against him within minutes of the latter’s public meeting in Guntur, dashed off another letter to the PM on Sunday night saying that a Prime Minister should follow ‘Raja Dharma’ and treat all States equally. Naidu said that a person who is in the position of the PM should not come to a position where he is facing protests whichever State he is visiting.

‘’The protests you are encountering in which ever State you are visiting stands as a glaring example of your misgovernance,’’ Naidu said and added that it is unfortunate that the CM of a State is not invited to an official programme held in his State which was attended by the PM.
Naidu said that people of AP anticipated some key announcements by the PM, but the non-mention of any of the assurances of AP Reorganisation Act had dashed the hopes of the people.

“You have failed to speak as to why Special Category Status (SCS) was not accorded to AP,’’ Naidu said.
The CM went on to add that at a crucial phase which the State is going through, it had to encounter an ‘inefficient’ PM like Modi. “If there was an efficient PM at the Centre, AP would have achieved development at a rapid pace,’’ Naidu said and prayed that God gives  Modi the courage to face defeat in the coming elections.
