PITTSBURGH, Feb. 11, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- "During a fire in which I was lost for a period of time, a fellow firefighter lost his life," said an inventor from Mico, Texas. "This inspired me to develop a means for firefighters to illuminate a pathway to an exit."

He developed the "Life Light SD" to provide high-visibility, illuminated, directional running lights, which create an added level of safety. This invention offers a tactile means to guide a firefighter out of a structure. Additionally, it would be compact and could easily trail behind the firefighter.

The original design was submitted to the Austin sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
