Body art enthusiasts descended upon the city of Milan in Italy over the weekend to take part in a three day international tattoo event.
More than 400 hundred tattoo artists were seen taking to the Milano Tattoo Convention from February 8-10 to celebrate the world of body ink and its expanding history.
The international event, which is now in its 24th year, also saw the tattoo admirers from across the globe display their flair for body ink through their colourful and elaborate designs.
From body art enthusiasts observing the myriad of designs on display to others witnessing their favourite tattoo artists at work, the event, which was born in 1995, is among the first in the world to bring together artists and body art admirers from around the world.
The convention also played host to an exhibition exploring the history of the tattoo industry from its birth in the early 1900s to today.
Among the artists making an appearance at the popular event was GAKKIN, an artist known for his unique blackwork style, and the Sons of Anarchy star and tattoo artist David Labrava.
