40-year-old diamond worker commits suicide
TNN | Feb 12, 2019, 04:00 ISTSurat: A 40-year-old diamond worker Suresh Mohan Tejani committed suicide by cutting his veins and throat here on Sunday. GVK EMR 108 officials, who found him lying in the parking of a shopping centre at Amroli crossroads, rushed him to SMIMER hospital. However, doctors declared him dead. Police found a suicide note from his pocket and also his identity card.
Suresh Tejani was a resident of Santosa Heights at Utran.
Police said Tejani first slit his veins of both hands and then his throat with a sharp-edged weapon. The suicide note said he was frustrated with life and didn’t wish to live anymore. Tejani requested his employer to take care of his family. Police said they have registered a case and investigating why he took his life.
