FALL RIVER -- Schools in Fall River will be released early Tuesday in anticipation of a winter storm, according to the Superintendent.
“Tomorrow we have a storm rolling in, we’re concerned that this storm will hit at our dismissal time causing tremendous traffic jams,” said Superintendent Matthew Malone in a video announcing the early release.
The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory for 10 a.m. through 10 p.m. Tuesday in Fall River.
Between 1 to 4 inches of snow is expected to accumulate Tuesday, according to the weather service. A light glaze of ice is also expected.
The district said school will end Tuesday at the following times:
