31-year-old man drowns in farm well
TNN | Feb 10, 2019, 23:54 ISTTirupur: Fire and rescue services personnel were trying to fish out the body of a 31-year-old man from a 90f deep agricultural well at Cheyyur here on Sunday.
The deceased was identified as N Ganesha Murthy of Vaiyapuri Gounden Pudur near Cheyyur. He was staying in a farm at Thanneerpandal Palayam near Vadakkankadu Thottam and was working as an agricultural labourer. He had ventured out to attend nature’s call on Sunday morning. Fire and rescue services personnel from Avinashi reached the spot and tried to fish out the body. But they could not retrieve it even after struggling for 12 hours as the well was half-filled with water.TNN
