He moved to Los Angeles several years ago to pursue a music career.  

But Cody Simpson is on the move, selling his sleek modern three-storey townhouse in glamorous West Hollywood. 

According to the The Los Angeles Times, the young singer has pocketed a sizable $1.35 million in the sale.

The home is the ultimate up-market bachelor pad for a star on the rise, featuring a massive loft-style living space,  a highly sought after property in the area. 

The home also boasts two sizable bedrooms, both flushed with natural light.  

The spacious living area consists of an elaborately designed step-down lounge room, with a stunning white fireplace the leads out to a second floor balcony.

The singer's kitchen features chic grey cabinetry, along with dark grey and white hued granite bench tops, while the main bathroom offers a touch of luxury thanks to its double vanity and white marble benches.  

Taking advantage of the incredible Californian climate, the home has a roof deck which features sweeping views across the stunning LA area.

Cody has lived in the home for the past four years, and the property has undergone extensive renovations during that time.

The townhouse sits in a block of six units in a gated complex. 

Taking a break from music, the Australian-born singer is currently performing in the Broadway musical Anastasia. 

Speaking to The Courier Mail last month, the hunky blonde star said it has always been his dream to grace the stage.

'It was certainly an ambition of mine growing up. Musical theatre in particular ties together many interests of mine – acting, singing, dancing,' he said. 

He also added he was interested in acting into the future.  

'It's romantic, challenging, inspiring... I'm glad to be up on stage every night in this show,' he added.
