DHANBAD: BJP national spokesperson Sambit Patra on Saturday said the parliamentary election is all about corruption versus Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Addressing a conference at town hall with political leaders and thousands of others from Dhanbad, Giridih and Bokaro in attendance, Patra said: “The country got a majority government at the Centre after 30 years and despite continuous criticism and allegations, Modi delivered and the nation has witnessed significant changes. Almost all political parties who have joined hands against BJP have vested interest and are not concerned about development.”
Without taking any names, Patra said Congress is struggling to “park Bunty and Babli in Indian politics and Lalu is concerned only about his babuaas”.
He added: “After BJP came to power, all the opposition parties were asking about our action against black money. But when Modi announced demonetisation, they launched a massive protest. GST was the biggest reform in our tax system, but the Congress president calls it as Gabbar Singh tax.”
