Noida celebrates second Raahgiri day

The second Raahgiri day in Noida saw residents in large numbers turning up at the Sector 18 junction to reclaim the streets. This time the event saw wrestling matches, pottery making, Bharatnatyam and performance by CISF and CRPF bands apart from the usual Zumba, sports and fitness activities according to officials of Noida Authority who organised the event, the theme for this Raahgiri day was 'Clean and Green Noida'.
"We have now decided that the Raahgiri day will have a new theme everytime it is organised. For today, we focused on spreading the message of 'Clean and Green Noida' by doing plantations and encouraging others to do the same," said Rajiv Tyagi, General Manager, Noida Authority.
