A man fractured another's nose after taking exception to being called Superman's alter ego on a night out.
Joshua Daniel Olsen attacked his victim, who he had met that night through mutual friends, in the male toilets at Wollongong's Towradgi Beach Hotel in April of last year.
Olsen had been engaging in banter earlier with a group of friends at another table, court documents said, before one of them told him 'hey, Clark Kent'.

The Balgownie resident said the victim made the comment and members of the group continued to insult the way he looked.
But the victim later denied saying the phrase to police, The Illawarra Mercury reported.
Olsen later followed the other man into the bathroom and pushed him in the back.
Olsen then punched his victim in the nose as he tried to defend himself, before the two wrestled on the ground until someone else walked into the bathroom.
'He was picking on me all night and I got sick of it. He was insulting me so I punched him,' he told police that night.
The victim suffered a fractured nose, a burst blood vessel in one of his eyes and two black eyes.

Olsen was released on bail after being charged with assault causing actual bodily harm.
But two-and-a-half months later, he assaulted two people in an unprovoked attack in Wollongong's Crown Street Mall.
He told the male victim 'you're not worth s**t' after pushing him in the chest - before he grabbed the female victim by her neck.
The attacker was due to fight the charges, but was instead given two 18-month community correction orders after a last-minute guilty plea deal.
