The former India captain became the first Indian cricketer to play 300 T20 format matches.
Overall, Dhoni is joint-12th in the list of cricketers who have played 300 or more T20 matches in their career. Dhoni now shares the 12th spot with England's Luke Wright, who also has 300 T20 matches to his name.
