Over two million Australians saw the aftermath of Lauren Huntriss, 31, taking the virginity of her 'husband' Matthew Bennett's on Married At First Sight this week.

And during Sunday night's episode of the show, Lauren candidly revealed the pressure she was under to make the moment special for her formerly virgin groom.

The 30-year-old videographer also voted to say with his bride, and spoke candidly about life after sex.

'It kinda feels like this whole journey has been facing one fear after the other,' he confessed while surrounded by his 'married' co-stars.

'Every time I do them, I step into the shoes a little bit more into the person I'm meant to be,' Matthew added.

After being asked by the relationship experts what his intimacy history is, Matthew responded confessing: 'Pretty much, none. No, no history of intimacy,' before revealing to his co-stars that he lost his virginity to Lauren.

'It's an old part of my identity that I'm leaving behind,' he said, adding: 'I don't know how you put it delicately.

'Last night at the honeymoon and after Loz and I connected, we then really connected.'

Giggling, Lauren discreetly added: 'We just really connected! That's all we need to say.'

Shortly afterwards, the relationship experts asked Matthew how 'sex is sitting with [him],' to which he replied with: 'Apart from uncomfortable, surprisingly comfortable.'

Chatting to TV Week recently, Matthew explained it was his wife's 'compassion' that put him at ease and made him decide to take the next step in their relationship.

But after the cameras stopped rolling, the usually uptight Matthew became significantly more relaxed around his wife and 'one thing led to another' in the bedroom.

On Tuesday's episode of MAFS, Matthew announced: 'Last night I lost my virginity.'

He added: 'It was just a beautiful moment. It was probably more than I expected it would be. It was... it was amazing.

'I think it was worth the 29-year wait. Loz is just amazing. We are so close, we are so... connected. I just want to be with her.

'Me touching Loz, Loz touching me, it was a beautiful moment, and I'm so glad it was Loz.'

Meanwhile, Lauren added: 'I'm feeling closer to Matt than ever. The chemistry is back. I can't stop smiling!'
