Bhopal: A 20-year-old student and her friends were thrashed by four men as she had objected their remarks. The friends of the girl who tried to intervene also got thrashed. The girl is a resident of Jaatkhedia and studies in an institute in Govindpura area. She was sitting with her friends near Hema school on Thursday afternoon when the four youths arrived on a bike.
They started passing lewd remarks on the girl and her friends. As they objected, a heated argument broke out and they thrashed her and her friends and fled. Ashok Singh, SHO Govindpura said the accused were known to her and they are students of the same college. “We have filed an FIR and have served notices to the accused: Abuzar Khan, Beny Rajpoot, Neeraj Verma and Shafal Singh,” he added.
