A day after he was allegedly attacked in Narela, Leader of the Opposition in the Delhi Legislative Assembly Vijender Gupta criticised Chief Minister for “playing the victim card to hide his incompetence and failures”.
Convoy attack
Referring to the protest in Narela, which he argued was staged by locals “because of deliberate delay in the construction of metro line Phase-IV”, the Chief Minister had, once again, resorted to “spreading lies” as the protesters were “wrongfully portrayed as attacking the CM’s convoy”.
“CM Kejriwal has made it a habit of playing the victim card whenever it becomes too difficult to answer for his failure in governing the Capital. In fact, he has been indulging in such behaviour to garner cheap publicity to fan his political relevance, which seems to be declining with each passing day,” Mr. Gupta said.
Mr. Gupta further attacked the Chief Minister for “attacking institutions” instead of “answering the people” and engaging in the “politics of confrontation” which had been “exposed” in front of the people on numerous occasions.
‘His politics is exposed’
“The EC has been under fire from the AAP supremo. In the latest case he has tweeted flinging unwarranted allegations at the constitutional body. His politics of confrontation has been exposed in front of the people on numerous occasions,” he added.
