Klopp wants Liverpool to show aggression... in a legal way!

2019-02-09 11:55

Cape Town - Jurgen Klopp has called on his Liverpool squad to play with controlled aggression as they continue to fight for the Premier League title.

The Reds can return to the top of the Premier League table on Saturday if they avoid defeat against Bournemouth.

Liverpool are yet to taste defeat at home in the league this season and victory at Anfield would restore a three-point cushion.

After slipping up against Leicester and West Ham recently, Klopp has demanded an improvement from his men both this weekend and going forward.

Klopp said: "We know if you want to be top of the table and champion at the end of the season you have to show real passion, real desire, you have to fight that’s what you have to do.

"The only tool we really have to sort our situation is football and is passion and a proper fight – being aggressive in the most legal way."
