The Higher Education Department is taking steps to migrate services provided by all universities in the State to online platforms.
An array of services such as daily alerts regarding examination schedules, issuance of various certificates, mark lists, transfer certificates, examination calendar and circulars will go online.
In half an hour
This will ensure that students need visit college campuses only for academics, the department said. Once the system is fully operational, the applicant will receive the services within half an hour.
Certificates issued online will carry digital signatures.
