Delhi poll panel to take legal action against 'misleading' calls

Delhi's on Saturday said that they will be taking legal action against those calling to residents of the capital to tell them that their names have been deleted from the electoral rolls and that they will get them restored.

On the other hand, the ruling said that it has discovered that a large scale operation for fraudulent deletion of voters from Delhi's electoral rolls was underway and asked the poll panel to explain.
