Amicable Church to continue looking at Epiphany

TIVERTON - On Sunday, Feb. 10, Amicable Congregational Church United Church of Christ continues the journey through the Epiphany season, this Sunday’s Gospel lesson, Luke 5:1-11, tells about Jesus’ encounter with fishermen, who, by following Jesus’ directions, make an amazing catch of fish. Worship begins at 10 a.m.

On Mondays, from 7:30 - 8:30 p.m. Al Anon meets at Amicable Church.

On Tuesday mornings from 8:30 – 9:30 all are invited to the on-going “Faith Conversation.” Using Bible readings as a spring board for conversation, those attending discuss issues of the day.

The Wednesday morning quilting and knitting group meets weekly at the church from 9 – 11 a.m.
