Ujjain: Mayor Meena Jonwal took an stock of status of laying of pipe lines in the city for supplying potable water, on Friday.
She convened a meeting of Public health engineering department officials in which water committee in-charge Kalawati Yadav and executive engineer Dharmendra Sharma were present. She instructed officials to start providing water connection in the areas where the supply pipe lines have been laid like: Moti Nagar, Reti Ghat, Mahavir Bag, Maksi Road and Indore Road located colonies among others.
Workshop for sanitation employees
The civic body organised a workshop for the sanitation employees on Friday. Mayor Jonwal on this occasion instructed the employees and gave them tips to improve their working efficiency.
Illegal hoarding removed
Keeping in view the general election municipal corportaion’s gang removed illegal hoarding from Chamunda Mata square, Grand Hotel, Teen Batti square and Nanakheda areas on Friday. The officials told that action against illegal hoarding installation will continue.
