Priyanka Mary Francis, outgoing Deputy Commissioner who has been transferred as Director of Tourism, said on Thursday that she had got the full support of officers and the staff of government departments during her tenure as Deputy Commissioner. She was speaking at a farewell function organised by the district administration and the zilla panchayat at the District Offices Complex Auditorium, here.
Ms. Francis said that she had a lot of experiences during her three years and two months here as both ZP CEO and then as the Deputy Commissioner.
Team work was effective here because of the cooperative nature of the staff, she said. This was evident to her during the floods in the district last year, the 2018 Assembly elections, and the President’s visit here recently.
They should offer the same support to the new Deputy Commissioner, Hephsiba Rani Korlapati, Ms. Francis said.
