Over 15,374 skip exam on second day
tnn | Feb 9, 2019, 04:22 ISTAllahabad: At least 15,374 students were recorded as absent while three students were caught using unfair means in the state on the second day of class X and XII exams of Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Board (UP Board) on Friday. The total number of students who skipped the exams reaches to 36,048.
In 2018 UPSEB exams, 2.15 lakhs examinees skipped the exams on the second day taking the total count to 5.05 lakhs. Secretary, UP Board, Neena Srivastava said the exam was conducted smoothly and CCTV surveillance at exam centres in villages were found in adequate number and working.
The class X students appeared for agriculture while of Intermediate appaered for singing, instrument and dance in the first session and optional paper of regional language in the second session.
