Snow-hit Kashmir is fast running out of fuel, prompting the authorities to announce the rationing of petroleum products. Stocks are fast drying up in the Valley given the continuous closure of Jammu-Srinagar NH.

Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Baseer Ahmad Khan has asked all deputy commissioners to ensure that no petrol pump sells more than three litres of petrol per vehicle per day. Commercial vehicles can avail up to 10 litres of diesel per day. Traffic remained suspended on the NH for third day on Friday.
