Student drowns in Periyar
A college student, part of a 14-member group of students on a trip, drowned in the Periyar at Panamkuzhy near Perumbavoor while taking a bath on Friday around 12.30 p.m. The deceased was identified as Rahul Krishna, 19, of Chakkaraparambu. He was a second year B.Com student of Bharatha Matha College, Thrikkakara.
