Turmeric arrival increases

Arrivals of old turmeric went up on Friday. As many as 6,500 bags, including 300 bags of new turmeric, arrived for sale. About 70 per cent of the quantity that came in was sold, said RKV Ravishankar, a trader. He said some traders received one or two upcountry orders, and they purchased select quality of new/old turmeric.
