India vs New Zealand 2nd T20: Highlights in BengaliTamil and Malayalam

Series level

In every way. New Zealand thrashed India in the first match. The same teams played in Auckland and India returned the favour. It should be a humdinger in Hamilton and that match is on February 10. See ya!

Pant ends the match

Full delivery from Kuggeleijn and Pant smashes it past the bowler along the ground for four. Same teams, contradictory results in the first two matches of this series. India have strolled to a series-levelling win here.

3 runs to win off the last two overs

Nail-biting times these. Pant and Dhoni in the middle, can the visitors level the series? Kuggeleijn is bowling the 19th.

SIX!

One-handed Rishabh Pant smashing Tim Southee over midwicket for the maximum. Nothing to see here folks, India have won this match already. 14 to win  off 20 balls

Pant survives

Pant skies an attempted flick off Sodhi but it goes right through the hands of Ross Taylor. Nothing going New Zealand's way at the moment.

Dhoni and Pant

Mentor and apprentice and both of them have got boundaries which means that wicket of Shankar has done little to stop India. They now need 32 to win off 33.

WICKET!

Shankar pulls but cannot clear the ropes. Easy one for Southee at deep midwicket. Shankar walks away to a standing ovation but that is most probably for the man who is replacing him - MS Dhoni.

SIX!

An absolute beauty from Vijay Shankar. Low full toss from Mitchell and Shankar digs it out to send it back over the bowler's head. Partnership now 30 off 16 balls.

100 for India

A single from Pant to take India into three figures. It has come off 12.3 overs and India need 59 to win off 45 balls.

FOUR! Pant

Pant creams Sodhi through extra cover and the ball reaches the boundary in milliseconds. That was a shot hit with a vengeance. India 96/2

WICKET!

A bouncer that was as quick as any from Ferguson catches Dhawan by surprise. He edges it and the point-fielder is given catching practice.

WICKET!

Rohit Sharma's onslaught ends. He pulls but doesn't get enough power behind the shot, goes straight down the throat of Tim Southee at midwicket.

The Hitman Records

Rohit Sharma smashes Ish Sodhi for six over the fine leg boundary and becomes the highest runscorer in T20 Internationals. That is also his 101st career six in T20 Internationals. He is just two more biggies away from crossing Martin Guptill and Chris Gayle for most sixes in the format.

And now Dhawan

He hits alternate fours off the first three balls of the 5th over bowled by Southee, India are absolutely cruising at the moment.

Rohit Sharma

Two dot balls in the fourth over, one of which hit Rohit in the box. After that, he creams Kuggeleijn over mid-on for four and then ridiculously whips him fine for six. That is the 100th six in T20 Internationals for the Indian captain.

No sweat for India...

... for the moment at least. They are 21/0 after 3 overs with Rohit and Shikhar ticking away the runs easily. New Zealand in desperate need of a wicket here.

SIX!

'Take that!' says Rohit Sharma with his bat. Lockie Ferguson bowls a good length delivery angling into Rohit and he hooks it to the midwicket boundary.

India 6/0 after 1st over

Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan in the middle and Tim Southee bowled the first over. Rohit hit a four off the second ball; India know that they can take their own time in this chase. 158 is a below-par total on this ground.

Daryl Mitchell

It was quite a shock when the umpire raised the finger for LBW after replays showed that there was an inside edge. Was Daryl Mitchell out or not? You choose.

The death overs

Colin de Grandhomme set things up beautifully for New Zealand to go for 200 in the death overs but the Indian pacers coiled around those batsmen like a boa constrictor in those last five overs.

WICKET OFF THE LAST BALL

Khaleel knocks over Southee off the last ball, India have pulled things back beautifully in the death overs. New Zealand 158/8 after 20 overs, India need to make 159 to level the series.

OUT!

Khaleel Ahmed bowling the last over, Kuggeleijn is dropped by Pandya off the first ball of the over but it was a difficult catch at long off. Khaleel then cleans up Mitch Santner off the next ball.

RUN OUT!

HOW ABOUT THAT FROM VIJAY SHANKAR! A direct hit from long-on, no less, and Ross Taylor stands no chance. This is sensational death over cricket from India.

Last two overs

Bhuvneshwar Kumar to bowl the penultimate over, Ross Taylor on strike, New Zealand are five runs away from reaching the 150-run mark.

First boundary in 15 balls

Full delivery on the stumps by Hardik, Taylor picks that up and works it to the leg side, the ball absolutely flew off the bat for four.

The boundaries dry up

India are absolutely strangling New Zealand in the death overs. Bhuvneshwar Kumar is relentless with his length and has Taylor and Santner reaching and recoiling. New Zealand 136/5 after 17 overs.

OUT!

De Grandhomme gets his fifty and is dismissed off the very next ball. Hits it straight to Rohit Sharma at extra cover and Hardik Pandya gets his first wicket of the match.

India applying the breaks

Last five overs of the innings now. De Grandhomme threatened to take the game away from India in the beginning of the second half of the innings but the boundaries have dried up for the Kiwis in the last two overs. Hardik Pandya with the ball in his hand for the 16th.

Run rate slows down

De Grandhomme not able to time it that well now and that means that India remain in the driver's seat after the 14th over. New Zealand 114/4.

BACK TO BACK SIXES!

New Zealand fight back through De Grandhomme. This time, he goes after Krunal Pandya, nonchalantly flicking the second ball for a gigantor that rested in the second tier and following that up with one that is straight back over the bowler's head.

De Grandhomme creams Chahal

A six, four and then a six to start the second half of the New Zealand innings. Three runs came off the next three balls which means the 11th over has cost India 19 runs.

OUT! IT'S WILLIAMSON!

Krunal Pandya strikes again and it is the New Zealand captain! Williamson looking to pull, the ball skids on and hits him on the right thigh. No problems here, that's clear LBW, what a spell this is from Krunal.

Taylor comes in

Two of New Zealand's best are out there but twitter is starting to catch fire due to what happened in that Krunal Pandya over.

OUT! BIZARRE WICKET!

Daryl Mitchell reviewed the LBW decision that went against him, replays and hotspot seemed to indicate a clear inside edge but the umpire gives him out anyway! Krunal Pandya has got a second wicket in the same over but how only the umpires know. There were three reds but the replay and hot spot showed an inside edge. Williamson was shocked as soon as the umpire raised the finger again and Mitchell was stopped as he started to make his way back. Dhoni had a word with the batsmen as everyone, including Rohit Sharma, looked absolutely clueless as to what in the world just happened. Mitchell had no choice but to walk and the only way he could have survived after all that was if India called him back. We will be hearing more about this incident for sure.

WICKET!

Krunal Pandya gets Colin Munro off his second ball of the match. He replaced Khaleel Ahmed, Williamson took a single off the first ball after which Munro hits it straight to Rohit Sharma at cover.

Hardik Pandya goes for runs

He comes in a second change and Williamson first gets a four off the second ball of his over with a deft touch just as the ball passed him, leaving square third man with no chance of getting anywhere close to it. A dot ball and then a shot through extra cover for another boundary. The New Zealand captain has hit three fours so far, each one has being a sight to behold.

SIX!

A double off the first ball of the fourth over, two dot balls and then Munro clubs Khaleel over long off for a maximum. It was the greatest of deliveries, half volley outside off but Khaleel follows that up with a yorker that Munro somehow digs out for a single. Williamson finishes the over with a photogenic four towards the offside. New Zealand 30/1 after 4.

WICKET!

And now a wicket. After two economical overs, Bhuvneshwar Kumar started off with a four and a six before getting Seifert caught behind. Went after the delivery outside off, moved away just a touch and gets the faintest of edges behind to MS Dhoni. Seifert departing for 12 runs from 12 balls. New Zealand are 15/1

SIX!

A six now. This one is more confident and cleanly hit. Middled by Seifert and it has just about cleared the boundary rope towards long on

FOUR!

First boundary of the match comes off Tim Seifert's bat. Banged in short by Bhuvi, Seifert looked to come down the track but does well to pull down and low for a boundary
