Global citizen scholarship programme by GIIS

PUNE: The Global Indian International School (GIIS) has announced a fully-funded scholarship of Rs 4.75 crore for students. Entering its tenth year, the global citizen scholarship has been initiated to provide quality education to 10 deserving Indian students for the academic year 2019-2021.
GIIS has awarded this scholarship to over 80 students who are now placed in international universities.
A statement issued by GIIS said that, students can log onto www.giisscholarships.org and apply before March 17 to register for this two year scholarship programme.
Atul Temurnikar, co-founder and executive chairman, Global Schools Foundation said in the statement that, "Our scholarship programme has been designed keeping in mind the need for global exposure for bright minds and hence gives them an easy access to the international curriculum and 21st century learnings at GIIS smart campus in Punggol, Singapore."
At the GIIS campus in Punggol technology, facility and design have been carefully formulated to give students the best academic and extracurricular pedagogy. This NextGen learning school aims to make students future ready with the use of technology enabled tools like virtual classrooms to connect with educators around the world, education centered around smart devices and digital collaboration, specialized labs on robotics and information technology and many other 21st century learning tools.
