The 19th edition of The Hindu Young World Quiz will be held at Perks Sports Academy, Uppilipalayam, on Friday.
Each participating team must consist of two students of the same category and from the same school and any number of teams from a single school can participate. However, in the final six teams, only a maximum of two teams from the same school will be allowed.
Students can register for the competition by visiting www.thehindu.com//ywquiz. Each team has to pay ₹200 as registration fee. On the spot registration is also allowed. The registration for the participants in the junior category will be held between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. The competition will begin at 9.45 a.m. For seniors, the registration is from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. and the competition will begin at 2 p.m.
The prize distribution ceremony will be held at 5 p.m. at the same venue and participation certificates will be given for all participants. The audience will also have a chance to win prizes for instant answers.
