CAPTAINS' TAKE:
Rohit Sharma:
We were looking to bowl first anyway. I know we lost the last game, but chasing has been our strength. We have spoken about what we need to do with bat and ball. Hopefully we can get a win today. We just need to do the right things and do them consistently. We discussed what went wrong in the last game. Hopefully we won't repeat them. We are playing the same team. I know there will be a lot of talk about Krunal and Kuldeep. Kuldeep has been brilliant for us. It's just that we want to see other guys as well, especially in overseas conditions. Having one bad game doesn't say anything. We need to give them more games to understand what they have in them.
Kane Williamson:
We are going to bat. Usually a good batting surface here. It's always a great opportunity to play against India. We are up against one the strongest teams in world cricket. Same team for us today. It was one of the those days where people come and perform their role and it comes off. We know it doesn't happen day in day out (talking about the first T20I). We were really good in the last game. Hopefully we can keep making strides in that direction.

PREVIEW:
After the 80-run hammering on Wednesday, a desperate India will be eyeing a strong comeback against New Zealand in the second contest of the three-match Twenty20 rubber at Eden Park on Friday.
While the visitors face a must-win situation, another victory for the Kiwis will seal a series victory win for them.
In the first game, neither the Indian batsmen nor the bowlers clicked as they succumbed before a clinical all-round show by the hosts. Kiwi opener Tim Seifert (84 off 43) hammered the Indian bowlers all around the Park on Wednesday and it would be crucial to pack back him early today.
