Sugar rules flat in normal trade

Sugar prices at the Vashi wholesale market ruled flat on Friday on normal activity. Prices were fluctuating by ₹4-5 a quintal in line with quality, while at naka and mill levels, they remained unchanged. On Thursday, 22-24 mills sold 48,000–50,000 bags at ₹2,910-2,960 of S-grade and ₹2,970-3,060 of M-grade. The Bombay Sugar Merchants Assn rates: S-grade ₹3,046-3,116 and M-grade ₹3,121-3,465. Naka delivery rates: S-grade ₹3,050-3,070/M-grade ₹3,070-3,130.
