ICAI IPC CA Result 2018 LIVE Updates: Delhi boy Shubham Malhotra tops in New Course

Arjun Minocha with 74.14% with 519 marks out of 700 secured first rank in old curriculum in which more than 1.5 lakh students appeared. The second rank was held by Divya Gupta with 71.43% from Fatehgarh Sahib, Punjab followed by Pramanshu Sharma from New Delhi with 70% marks.

Shubham Malhotra from Delhi with 82.13% held All India Rank one followed by Pranshu Bagrodia from Kolkata held the second rank with 81.13%  and the third rank holder this year is Pushap Goyal from Sirasa, Haryana with 81.13%.

Last year, Ahmedabad’s Jay Dharemendrabhai Sheth has secured all Indian rank (AIR) 1 followed by Kolkata’s Susarla Aravind Jayaram and number 2 while Simran Kessar from Navi Mumbai has grabbed the third position

Topper from both the courses, old and new syllabus are from New Delhi. Shubham Malhotra from Delhi with 657 marks out of 800 has topped in the new course and Arjun Minocha from New Delhi topped in old course syllabus with 519 marks out of 700.

ICAI CA IPC Result 2018: The results of Institute Chartered Accountants of India Chartered Accountants Intermediate (old course and new course) examination will be declared on Friday, February 8, 2019. As per an official, the results of IPC CA examinations will be released at 5 pm.

The results will be available on the following websites — icaiexam.icai.org, caresults.icai.org and icai.nic.in.

Many candidates often face issues. Some forget or misplace their roll number or registration number through which one can check the result. In such a case, candidates will have to register themselves provisionally. Follow these steps - To create provisional login:

Go to “New User Register Here”

Select correct Examination from drop down

Select the RegistrationNo, "Select

Prefix" select "OTHERS"

In the area/box "Enter the seven digits of your registration number" enter any seven digits say 1234567

Enter your date of birth.

A system message will appear "Registration No. and Date of Birth you have entered doesn't match with our records. However, you may submit the details as Provisional Candidate. The system will allot a unique Provisional Registration Number (Pxxxxxxxxx) for this exam cycle.

Under this message, you will find a check-box with the words "YES. Register me as Provisional Candidate"

The process of verification of marks includes the following:

Checking:

• Whether any question or part thereof has remained unvalued and if so, to evaluate the same and issue a revised statement of marks.
• Whether there is any totaling error in any question or total marks on the cover page
• Whether there is any discrepancy between the marks for each question and or/part thereof and marks for each question indicated on the cover page of the answer book

However, revaluation of the answer book is not permitted under the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988

ICAI CA IPC Result 2018: In case of a change in marks, the verification fee is refunded to the candidate automatically. There is no need to make a separate claim for refund. In case, you have also applied for the next exam, pending the outcome of the verification and the outcome of verification, results in your passing the earlier exam, the examination fees paid by you for the next exam is also refunded or you may apply for change in group applied for next examinations. No such refund is made in case of an application for inspection / certified copy(ies).

The ICAI will release ranks up to top 50 spots in the merit list. Candidates name and marks will be declared there. However, rest of the candidates can check their results through normal result link. Also, personal and detailed scorecards will also be available in the result link

The results of Institute Chartered Accountants of India Chartered Accountants Intermediate (old course and new course) examination will be declared on Friday, February 8. The candidates can check the results through the official websites icaiexam.icai.org, caresults.icai.org and icai.nic.in

Along with the result, the institute will announce the all India merit list (upto the 50th rank). The toppers' names will be announced shortly

Over 1.57 lakh candidates had appeared in the ICAI CA exams that was conducted in the month of November. The students of Intermediate Examination (old course and new course) can access their results on their e-mail addresses as well.
