Mentha oil prices edge higher on firm demand

Riding on higher demand coupled with restricted arrival from producing regions mentha oil prices rose.

NEW DELHI: Mentha oil prices climbed in the domestic futures market on Friday, riding on higher demand coupled with restricted arrival from producing regions.

Around 10:40 am, MCX Mentha oil was at Rs 1,579.10 per kg, up by Rs 14.40, or 0.92 per cent.

Raising of bets by speculators, driven by surging demand from consuming industries at the spot market against limited supplies from key producing regions, drove mentha oil prices higher in futures trade.
